Decades in the making, an exhibition of more than 30 photographs of American hot dog stands, their lively proprietors, patrons and iconic products, shot by Patty Carroll, will open with a reception on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at the Cliff Dwellers Club, 200 S. Michigan Avenue, 22nd floor penthouse.
The public is invited to the July 10 opening reception from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, and admission is free. Carroll and her co-author, noted food historian Dr. Bruce Kraig, will attend the event. Signed copies of Man Bites Dog will be available for purchase at a discounted price. A cash bar will be open.
